Locationbar’s purpose is simple: to make the address bar more than a text box. This addon gives you more options when viewing the current address. It emphasizes the domain to prevent phishing scams. It also allows you to click on specific parts of the URL, so you can browse the directories that lead up to the page. Split Browser allows you to have different tab windows on the screen simultaneously, which is great for those who have large monitors and resolutions. You can also use it to compare different websites and content, or to plain old multitask.
