This addon allows you to open website with Internet Explorer from within Firefox. With the click of a button Firefox will create an instance of the Internet Explorer engine of the current page within a new tab, not a new window, just a tab! You can browse websites with Firefox and Internet explorer at the same time from within the very same window.
This addon is a godsend for web developers who frequently have to check to see if their project is IE compatible (since it doesn’t follow standards)
This addon isn’t just for web developers though. Some Microsoft powered sites such as Hotmail require you to use Internet explorer. IETab is great for those users who wish to access said sites without opening up Internet Explorer.
