From the creates of PicLens comes CoolIris Previews! Previews allows you to open websites from within your current tab in mini-windows. This addon is great for quickly checking to see if a search result contaisn the answer you’re looking for, or for browsing 2 or more websites on the same screen for those of us who have larger resolutions or multiple monitors without having two firefox windows open.

The addon allows you to dock or “stack” previewed items for later viewing in descrete sidebar button. The addon also boasts a plethora of options to customize it to your liking. Features include: prefetching websites for faster fiewing, instantly send links to friends and family, a slideshow mode for Google and Yahoo Images, and various others.

Cooliris is compatible with Windows, Mac OSX, and even Linux.
